Newfoundland dogs are known for their size, intelligence, strength, loyalty, and sharp dispositions. They excel at water rescue/lifesaving because of their muscular build, thick double coat, webbed feet, and swimming abilities. The can come in black, landseer (black & white), or brown. They are wonderful with children and easy to train if you start early.

Fair Valley Newfs strives to consistently better the breed. Our moms and dads are all AKC certified, OFA (a.k.a. PennHIP) certified for hips and elbows and DNA tested (negative for cystinuria).
